Terms of Service

The service
Coder IDE lets you access a VS Code editor running on your own machine from a browser, via an agent you install and a secure tunnel we operate. We provide the control plane, relay, and web interface; the machine and the code on it remain yours and your responsibility.
Your account
You need an account, identified by your email address, to link devices. You are responsible for the security of your email inbox and the machines you link, and for all activity that happens through devices connected to your account.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems, to distribute malware, or to violate the law. Only link machines you own or are authorized to expose. We may suspend accounts that abuse the relay or harm the service for others.
Early access and availability
The service is in early access. Features may change or be removed, and we do not guarantee uptime of the relay or control plane. During the beta all users receive Pro features at no charge; paid plans and their terms will be introduced before billing is enabled.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits, or damage to your machines arising from use of the service. Your code lives on your own hardware — keep backups.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance. Questions can be sent to legal@app.autobuildbot.shop.
